Lacrosse – Johns Hopkins vs. UMBC (3/8/2014)

at UMBC, Maryland.

Hopkins had a strong, solid start, made the game 3-0 run in the beginning,

and kept the pace in the 1st quarter 7-2.

It looked somewhat comfortable game mode for Hopkins until UMBC showed an amazing comeback.

UMBC fought back with the successful offense and defense, made the 2nd quarter 4-0 run,

the score, Hopkins 7-6 UMBC.

The tight game went through the 3rd quarter, Hopkins 9-8 UMBC.

Then, in the 4th quarter, the recharged Hopkins made a couple of important key goals,

with convincing the win for the 4th quarter, repeating the pattern as showed in the 1st quarter, 6-0 for closing the game. Final score 15-8.

Both teams showed great team efforts, preparing the next games ahead.
