Softball – O’Connell vs. Lake Braddock

on 4/25/2015 at Lake Braddock Bruins, Burke, VA.

Non-Conference game.

The undefeated Bruins had the first score in the 1st inning.

and kept the lead till 3rd inning without much trouble.

Then in the beginning of the 4th inning, a huge threat from O’Connell Knights had a big moment for the Bruins’ defense.

In the end of 4th inning, a clean solo home run made the game 2-0,

another run from Bruins marked the score on the board, 5th inning, 3-0

Before the last inning started, it seemed the Bruins routinely adding one more of the persuading win for the course of streak.

But, all the twists and turns, the Knights produced the incredible surge, nine runs including 3-run home run in the 7th inning.

Knights showed the patience and the concentration when it came to the drama. Final score 9-3.

Both showed the skills and energy level from the highest ranked teams.

It was one of the memorable game of this spring season.

After the game, Knights
