In the afternoon, at Conowingo Dam, in Maryland
Mild wind, mostly cloudy in the afternoon.
Couple of eagles on the tower bars of the island, and visitors had hard luck to find the eagles in the trees behind the parking lot.
Like the one, sat on the branch, deep inside of a tree.
Very little activities from eagles, but it had the routine fly-bys, and can be said the fishing event was as rare.
Some great blue herons, cormorants, seagulls, swallows, butterflies, vultures, and so on, the nature clocks were always ticking.
The expectations never fade away where the eagles are around.
An adult eagle’s passing by, to the trees with its meal.
A cormorant’s flipping around its catch.
Swallows are busy of surfing.
A resident osprey executed couple of fishing attempts with no gain in the distance.
Then, back to the post
Some time of recharging
Finally, having the moment of the impact
The ospreys here do not really dive-in, they do scooping.
Mission accomplished at this session.
