Wilde Lake in February

Wilde Lake is a man-made, artificial lake in Columbia, MD.

The size is smaller than two other lakes in town.

It is in the middle of the surrounding residential area, good for walking & jogging,

Quite, peaceful place with nice neighbors in the village.

This is a very good place for the wildlife watching, and people can enjoy the wildlife closer than any other places.

Variety of birds, Herons and water birds are frequent visitors.

Once in a while, bald eagle, hawk, loon can be sighted.

Lakes need maintenance, with some period of time passing, the lakes have been dredged for cleaning up the sediment.
